Description
Hibiscus schizopetalus (Chinese Lanterns, Japanese Lanterns, Fringed Rosemallow, Waltzing Ladies) is Tall, slender, evergreen shrub with arching or pendent branches and ovate, toothed, mid- to deep green leaves, to 12cm long. Long-stalked, pendent, pink or red flowers, to 8cm across, each with a long staminal column, pink stamens, and deeply and irregularly fringed, reflexed petals, are produced singly from the upper leaf exils in summer.
