Ficus nitida<\/strong> also known as Cuban Laurel, Indian Laurel Fig, Green Island Fig, Chinese Banyan is\u00a0Wide-spreading, evergreen tree with curtains of aerial roots (some root on touching the soil).\u00a0Bears narrowly to broadly elliptic to obovate, leathery, dark green leaves, 6-12cm long. Spherical purple figs, 1cm long, are produced in pairs on mature trees, ripening black.
